"It was located conveniently for shops and the park and the rooms and bedding were very clean. The cleaning staff kept on top of the communal bathrooms but the cleanliness would depend on the guests that used it in between the cleaning. The picture you see in the advert is not the rooms i looked at or stayed in. The rooms are a lots more worn with some dark decor and peeling wallpaper with worn carpeting in areas, not polished wood floors as seen in pictures. That said it is clean, fresh clean...

"The historic brownstone had tremendous charm and was lovely. There was a problem with the heat not working and repeated requests for something to be done were met with conflicting information about possible repairs, but nothing was done. Luckily the temperatures rose during the day, which helped keep it a little more comfortable."

"Five of my friends and I went to visit Salem & Boston for a long weekend and we pretty much just needed some place to sleep and shower as we were out and about the entire time and this was great for what we needed. "This was an upcoming neighborhood. Lots of character. Transit close by and fast and easy. Very clean and rooms were big. Full sized kitchen well equipped Make sure you are OK with curving stairs. "You get a lot for the price of this place!! We enjoyed our stay, the beds were pretty uncomfortable but everything else was great. The only problem was a lady came in unannounced while we were getting dressed for the day, and came through the apartment and sat on the balcony then back through the apartment then left. We had thirty more minutes left until check out, so that was a little odd/disorienting (for us). Otherwise, great stay 😂"

"Excellent food choices nearby. Location was perfect. Good neighborhood. Easy access to train/ bus. The parking was a plus! Steep stairs but firm handrails. My kids did not have any issues going up or down the stairs. Loved to have a bathroom and bedroom available on main floor. The lower level is super comfortable and roomy. This was our first time in Boston and this duplex was perfect for us. I would stay here again if we visit some other time. "

"The apartment was perfect in every way-clean, large, with a large TV (we did not use it but would have used it during a longer stay), well stocked kitchen, very nicely decorated, lots of amenities.
