The owners were very responsive, and numerous deer passed through the backyard. Located about 30 minutes from both Springfield airport and Branson, it’s a great choice for those visiting the area. "The house is nicely designed and had lovely Christmas decor during our stay. We were celebrating a longtime friend’s 50th birthday. One spouse got sick and stayed home, so we ended up with 5 adults and 2 kids - the friend with kids took the downstairs and the two couples used the upstairs bedrooms. That allowed everyone their own space (the two kids sharing a room), though the parents were willing to take the room with a king bed and bunk beds if another couple had been able to join us. The...

"The house is a little rustic, but everything was clean/in good working order and it has plenty of space. It is only 18 minutes from great off-roading at SMORR and there was plenty of space for parking. There are a handful of gas stations and good restaurants just a few minutes away, but the house itself is a little out of the way so it is nice place to relax. I enjoyed the front porch with a view of the valley across the way."
