"We didn't expect too much. We arrived decently late and tried to call multiple times to check how late we could check in, the first 2x the phone was not answered. We were asked if we want to see the restaurant menu but were not informed when it closes so by the time we went to the restaurant the kitchen had closed and no warm dishes were available. "We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful place. The house is set on a sloped garden with beautiful views to all sides off tree lined pastures. A couple of friendly cows add to the picture and do not disturb the tranquility of the place. "Stayed here for a week in June/July. Even during the very hot weather the downstairs of the gite was very cool. The gite was well equipped and comfortable. It's isolation ensures you have a great view of the night sky but can be a long drive from the main roads due to the winding roads. My suggestions may be for a fan in the bedroom as on a warm evening it can get quite hot upstairs. Overall we had a great time during our one week stay here and would recommend it."
