You need to go to another nearby hotel to check in and get the keys. But the owners worked with us to do an online check in, the previous day, and left the key for us at the location in a secure box. "Anna was a superb host! It was my first time traveling internationally, and she made it a very welcoming stay with her warm demeanor. Breakfast buffet is plentiful and a guest mobility card is provided (different from summer card). I booked a double room which is small (I expected as such) but still very clean. Close to all the main transportation areas and walkable to downtown and Lake Zell. The view from my window was picturesque. Highly recommend!"

Ingrid and Michael (owners/managers?) and the head housekeeper Slady each went out of their way to be friendly and welcoming. "Super smiley and friendly hosts! Very spacious apartment fully equipped. A private balcony with the view of the town and the Alps! Literally next to the town center. The hotel has great amenities (like the sauna). I would strongly recommend this place to anyone visiting Lofer. We loved the hotel and Lofer so much that we kept extending our stay! "We stayed in the room called wald. Had a lovely stay from the warm welcome with chocolates and wine to the huge bathtub with plenty of amenities. The breakfasts were really beautifully put together and served in room which we liked. We were really grateful for the attentive hosts who even went out of their way to get us decaf coffee when requested. The room was very clean and was much larger than we expected. The views were spectacular from the windows."
