"Thought we had booked a Deluxe room with balcony. First room was small and we were moved but had no sitting area. As a hotel room it was fine other than lack of towel racks or hooks"

"The reception staff were helpful in assisting us to resolve the booking problems created by Expedia's confusing system. The room had amazing views looking out upon the historic Grafton cemetery. But the room itself was quite shabby, there was no daily housekeeping and the parking was diabolical. It was lucky we have a small car; a large car just wouldn't get in there. "

"Hotel is near the Sky Tower which is convenient if you’re travelling from Auckland airport. It is also within walking distance to the main shopping area and the harbour. There are many restaurants nearby. Staff was friendly and willing to hold our luggage after we’ve checked out. Only thing to be aware of is the city noise. The windows are not thick so you can hear traffic and noise from the streets below. "

"It is conveniently located, within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, and scenic spots. The only issue I encountered is the address of the hotel. It's listed as 171 Queen Street. However, that address belongs to a different store! Its main entrance is actually located in a valley or back street. Not easy to find."
