"Overwater bungalow with wonderful snorkeling off our porch steps"

"Bungalow had incredible views - the lagoon was breathtaking. Loved being able to snorkel off our deck. Really enjoyed the creperie and watching sting rays and black tip sharks swimming below us as we dined! The rooms were clean and very nice. The exteriors of the bungalows are quite worn and need a refresh but it didn't affect our stay. "

"The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. Ari at the front desk was great, and helped us upgrade our room to the best available (at a higher price, which was fine). The BBQ night (Wednesdays) at the restaurant was awesome. I would highly recommend anyone staying on Tahiti to consider Te Moana. It has a good price to quality ratio. And the infinity pool is wonderful. You will not be disappointed."

"This property is gorgeous! The lobby and pool area are photo worthy and grand. The hotel had Polynesian singers by the outdoor bar that perfectly complimented the location and made the experience truly memorable. "

"We stayed in an over-water bungalow. It was excellent. The property is beautiful and incredibly convenient to the airport, the cruise port, and downtown. The food options are somewhat limited for a resort of this scale. But the food was excellent as was the service. Small nit - the landscape guys out making noise at 7 am. Otherwise a great stay. "

"I was a last minute check-in, which was a little problematic, as they had sorry of closed for the evening. I was told that this is their not busy season, but I would still expect an establishment such as that to be open past six. Minor issue with the windows, where I had to close them from outside to avoid mosquitoes. Staff is very friendly and helpful and the property is absolutely gorgeous. If not for those inconveniences I mentioned, I would have given them 5 stars across the board. "

"Great property. Really cool pier with access to deep water. They have lots of kayaks and snorkeling gear. Water is dark and not as clear on this part of the island however. Snorkeling is ok but not like the best part of the island. Traditional style place without luxury but they have everything you need"

"We had a wonderful stay here! The property is gorgeous and the staff is so friendly and accommodating. We loved how beautiful the space was and enjoyed having breakfast on the deck watching the ocean. The island is gorgeous and it's easy to drive around to everything you want to see, plus great tour options. "
