"What a great stop off point on the way through northern France. It’s a perfect one nighter if you are travelling through France - in our case to southern Italy. Staff are super friendly and helpful, especially Laura on reception. Food is also pretty good. They serve in glass jars - which may sound a little trendy - but actually super practical when there isn’t a chef. Yes they are probably heated in the microwave- but it’s a damn sight better than some of the terrible food much of France has to offer. Hotel is fully renovated and feels new and super clean. "

"We enjoyed the esthetic of this old house. We were there in late October and while there is heat, it is an older drafty house without modern windows etc and the thermostat limited to 19 C, which felt kind of chilly. I think it would be wonderful in summer. Kitchen was good except all the knives were very dull- hard to cut our baguette. The listing says there is a dryer and hot tub, but there is not. Only a washer and bathtub. The cleanliness was okay but once I discovered it was our job to clean the place I understood why. Since the cleaning is expected of the guest, I imagine it's a little hit and miss. We probably would stay here again in the summer months. Good location, beautiful region, very close to WWI sites and museums. It is the location of the Battle of the Somme. "

"This is not a ‘hotel’ it is a dump. It is falling apart and revolting. The room smelt terrible. The sheets were mouldy smelling. The pillows were the size of A4, tiny. The floor was sticky. Just awful all round"

"Renovated in 2023, this is a delight. Very well appointed and comfortable, with easy, spacious parking, the hotel provided everything we needed. Dinner was not available in the hotel, but a 15 walk into Albert provided a choice of bars and restaurants. Breakfast was plentiful and there was a good selection to suit UK and continental palletes. Highly recommend."
