"Clean, comfortable and friendly!"

"This was the perfect stay for us on our way through to the Alps. We arrived quite late (midnight-ish) but there was a very friendly face available to greet us in the restaurant and show us to our room. Parking just outside the room was really helpful. The room had everything we needed for a family of 4. Comfortable large sofa bed and another big double. It was clean and the shower was great. I was a bit sceptical having read some of the reviews about it being tired and gaps in the curtains but I think it has either had a refurbishment since then or we were lucky with our room as we have no complaints at all. The windows had shutters so definitely no light coming through. We didn’t have the breakfast so can’t comment on that but I would highly recommend staying here and we will be back when next passing through. "

"We needed a stop off for our trip to the Alps, and this hotel fit the bill perfectly. The check in was easy and the rooms were comfy and warm. There are various food options in close proximity, petrol station near by and supermarket. "

"We enjoyed the esthetic of this old house. We were there in late October and while there is heat, it is an older drafty house without modern windows etc and the thermostat limited to 19 C, which felt kind of chilly. I think it would be wonderful in summer. Kitchen was good except all the knives were very dull- hard to cut our baguette. The listing says there is a dryer and hot tub, but there is not. Only a washer and bathtub. The cleanliness was okay but once I discovered it was our job to clean the place I understood why. Since the cleaning is expected of the guest, I imagine it's a little hit and miss. We probably would stay here again in the summer months. Good location, beautiful region, very close to WWI sites and museums. It is the location of the Battle of the Somme. "

"This is not a ‘hotel’ it is a dump. It is falling apart and revolting. The room smelt terrible. The sheets were mouldy smelling. The pillows were the size of A4, tiny. The floor was sticky. Just awful all round"

"Renovated in 2023, this is a delight. Very well appointed and comfortable, with easy, spacious parking, the hotel provided everything we needed. Dinner was not available in the hotel, but a 15 walk into Albert provided a choice of bars and restaurants. Breakfast was plentiful and there was a good selection to suit UK and continental palletes. Highly recommend."
