"We really enjoyed our time at Chieftain Meadows. The star gazing was fantastic and we loved how close it was to some fantastic hikes. We usually visit the Smokies each year for hiking/fall colors and were blown away by how great the trails were at the state park and preserves. The house was in great shape, comfortable, and easy to settle in for quality family time. The property manager was friendly and responsive. Highly recommended."

"My family and I spent a quick weekend at Black Bear while attending a wedding in Hocking Hills. I wish we had more time to enjoy everything the cabin had to offer! The cabin is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The host was very nice and responsive and even delivered firewood for us so we didn't have to bring our own. When we visit again, I'll definitely check to see if Black Bear is available."

"Booked this property for my girlfriends birthday! It was my first time in the area but she had been before just hadn't stayed at this property. She was so pleased! The owner Tony communicated perfectly providing timely details and clearing up issues immediately. The property overlooks a ranch with bulls, cows and other animals. We were greeted in the morning by a rooster but we enjoyed it she named him Joe for some reason. The hot tub was excellent and we got some great use out of it. The...

"Everything was clean and the pictures matched everything in person. Great communication with host and I would recommend this place to anyone coming to see Hocking Hills or anyone that wants a small getaway. We were about 15 minutes from town and about 25 minutes from the Hocking Hills park. My only thing that I would mention to anyone staying here is that the cabins are kinda close together and our hot tub did not have the most privacy as the others. "
