"This is our third time staying on the poroerty and it remains our favorite one in the area. Hosts are lovely and the property is always in terrific shape. Great for groups and families. Location is tough to beat. Some appliance issues this time, but hosts were very apologetic and it is the first time we've ever had any issues. Already booked our fourth stay for next year!"

"My family and I spent a quick weekend at Black Bear while attending a wedding in Hocking Hills. I wish we had more time to enjoy everything the cabin had to offer! The cabin is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The host was very nice and responsive and even delivered firewood for us so we didn't have to bring our own. When we visit again, I'll definitely check to see if Black Bear is available."

"It was a great weekend getaway. Wife really enjoyed the hot tub. Would have liked to see more wildlife other than the ones that ran out in front of us on the drive in. "

"We had a great stay. Wish the weather cooperated more. Couldn’t use the fire pit bc of the rain. Otherwise we had a great time and would return again!"

"Property was nice. Pond had many large catfish and smaller bluegills. The men in the family enjoyed themselves. The porches were great for family time. But it could have been power washed to get the large spiders webs. But it was a nice little place that accommodates 12 comfortably. 14 is pushing it. "

"12 ladies come each fall for a getaway full of fun, food and friendship. We book immediately after our trip to ensure we get the property the following year. There is plenty of room for everyone, and the management is always responsive about any issues or needs. We look forward to our cabin trip every year!"

"The property was nice. They had acute cabin theme inside. They provided plenty of towels, soap, tp, paper towels, etc for our long weekend stay. The checking in, check out process was simple. "

"We were looking for a cabin to stay at close to Circleville for the Pumpkin Festival. This was perfect. It was nice, quiet and cozy. There was a beautiful winery located where the cabin was. Nicole was a great host, and offered wine tasting. They had a great selection of wines to choose from, we didn’t have much free time to schedule a wine tasting but will next time. They had cornhole boards, a fire pit, a swing and a nice deck outside the cabin. If you are looking for a place close to...

"We really enjoyed our time at Chieftain Meadows. The star gazing was fantastic and we loved how close it was to some fantastic hikes. We usually visit the Smokies each year for hiking/fall colors and were blown away by how great the trails were at the state park and preserves. The house was in great shape, comfortable, and easy to settle in for quality family time. The property manager was friendly and responsive. Highly recommended."
