"The house was perfect for our family of 4. The hot tub was amazing to watch the northern lights even in winter and the sauna was an added bonus. The location is great for seeing lots of great sights on the golden circle. We rented a car and toured the southern coast as well as Reykjavík. Listing is as described. The owner sends a full guide to the home and the area which is so helpful. He even gives his cell number for urgent matters. Highly recommend!"

"This house was gorgeous. They had all of the appliances you could want. It was down the road from gas stations and their supermarket. The town was quiet at night with not a lot of light pollution. They offer Netflix, Amazon Video, and Disney + on the tv which was nice. There are two bathrooms and the bathroom upstairs had a heated floor. We took our 20 month old and we had 3 adults staying there. There was a high chair and a crib for the toddler. My only real complaint was the stairs didn’t...

"This house was great for three couples. Three bedrooms. One big full bathroom with another bathroom with a toilet, which was perfect to have. Kitchen was equipped plus the outdoor grill. There were a few spices so when we cooked we didn’t have to purchase. The hot tub is excellent way to end the night. As far as location, we loved the private space being outside of town. There looked like there was a vegetable stand around the corner but we didn’t end up needing to stop. We did two day trips...

"Great base for rafting, horseback riding, all of the Golden Circle activities. The house itself was absolutely beautiful with a lovely view of the river. The hosts were very kind, particularly when we couldn't locate the key box upon arrival. We'd love to stay here again on a future trip to Iceland! "

"Overall, our three generations of family enjoyed our stay at this property. There was plenty of room for the eight of us to spread out or be together, as desired. "The villa is perfect!! Location, views, layout, amenities, just everything! The pictures do not come close to actually being there and seeing it yourself. "I absolutely loved my stay here. I stayed two separate nights during my travels and these cottages are so well equipped for a home away from home. Everything you could want is provided, they really have thought of everything. The cottages were beautiful, clean, comfortable and the views were stunning! They have plugs for EV cars at each cottage too which is a bonus for people driving e cars. I got to meet one of the owners, she was lovely. I can’t recommend this place enough, it’s a must stay...
