"We were bird hunting in the UP with my dog. Hosts were very nice, friendly and really wanted to make sure we were comfortable. On first impression it's a bit more civilized than our typical hunting camp. Overall, very nice, comfortable beds and furniture, we slept well after a hard day in the woods. We didn't spend any real daylight time there checking out the lake or anything. Overall, great stay. There's always a few quirks but for us it was great! Thanks"

"We really enjoyed our stay at DD Lodge. My family, ages ranging from 94 years to three years, and I booked this property for a family vacation and it was perfect! The Lodge is amazing, very spacious and beautiful! The property is very clean and very well maintained, with all the amenities we were looking for and more. "I booked the house for the Marji Gesick mountain bike race. I had five friends travel with me as a support crew. The house was excellent for our needs. Plenty of beds and 1.5 bathrooms.
