Good rooms and facilities. Nice bar area and very good food. Excellent breakfast. Only concern was that the service was rather slow during the evening meal meaning that we when we tried to order dessert we were informed that the kitchen had closed (our reservation was at 7.30pm). However, when I complained at Reception, my complaint was resolved very quickly and to our satisfaction.

I booked this hotel for friends who attended my husband’s 80th birthday. They were very happy and really impressed with the rooms and service. Staff were really helpful. They will visit again.

I’ve stayed there on two occasions.A beautiful building and The rooms are spacious. I was especially impressed by the large comfortable beds. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast has some of the best bacon that I’ve eaten. All in all a hotel that I would highly recommend. It’s also better value than a chain hotel. Well worth a visit.

Lovely old propert with lots of free parking close to m6. Everything you'd need in the rooms but a little cold overnight..no facitity to adjust temperature in the room although the shower/ hot water was excellent. .I only ate breakfast at the hotel but a large choice cooked to order & served by lovely ladies during week days. I will definately return as I have stayed previously over the last 20 years.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Statham Lodge. The room was clean with comfortable bed and good shower. However it did seem that if you came for a later breakfast the buffet options were limited.

The staff were welcoming and friendly. We were shown around the hotel by a lovely lady who told us the history of the building which was a nice touch. Our meal in the hotel was fabulous and we will definitely be staying there again when we are next in the area.

What a beautiful property! Everything about our 3 night stay at the Lodge was perfect. Beginning with the staff, friendly and so professional. Our room and all of the common areas were sparkling clean. Bed, linens and towels lovely! Dinner and lunch (3 meals) in the restaurant we're all delicious and well presented. We opted to include breakfast which was a la carte, hearty and set us up for the day exploring the area. The grounds are super well maintained and we loved exploring in and around the Lodge grounds. Fully recommend staying here.
