"Absolutely stunning venue. Great place and facilities in a period setting. I struggled to sleep for two reasons, the rooms were so warm and when I opened the window to cool down, the road noise was terrible. When checking in Alison on reception was really kind, telling my husband he could go back to the hotel and use their facilities even after check out. She even loaned us her own usb plug overnight so we could charge our devices. We have known the hotel for years, my husband went to King Edward’s school across the road, and I used to stay on business in the 1980’s and 90’s. We also held my husband’s 60th birthday party there...
