"This is a very well cared for villa in a great spot just outside La Orotava. It is located in a beautiful garden, very secluded and quiet. The villa is well equipped and comfortable. The pool is a good size for swimming. The hosts are extremely helpful and friendly. We would recommend this villa to anyone!"

"OK indretning og beliggenheden er fin. Stille og rolig område, nemt at parkere. Lejligheden bærer præg af ualmindelig dårlig vedligeholdelse. Den er beskrevet med tre badeværelser, det er der ikke, der er to og et toilet. Rigtig mange småting som er utrolig irriterende. I alt var syv pærer sprunget. Køkken ting er ikke suppleret. Ok køl og frys, ovnen pæn og ren, men ingen plader og fade. En parasol som var så gammel og mør at den var revnet.To solsenge som var stive af års skidt. Det tog en dag...

"Juan was an amazing host and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. We had an fabulous 2 weeks and the location is quiet and remote. Ideal if you are looking for peace and quiet not so if you looking for hustle and bustle. The Finca is well equiped and very well furnished. The wood burning hot tub was a very nice touch. Definitely coming back here if we head back to Tenerife."

Fijn dat er een wasmachine is, want 2 handdoeken p.p. voor 10 dagen is wel heel erg weinig. Tip voor de eigenaar: wat ophang haakjes in de keuken en badkamer zou fijn zijn en een informatiemap met o.a. gebruiksaanwijzingen zou ook handig zijn. wat haakjes "

"Spent a week at La Chirita for a bird-watching holiday as a couple in our early 60's. The cottage is on the rustic side, but contains everything that you need for a comfortable self-catering holiday. The jewel in the crown is the location amongst the trees, in the foothills of the pinebelt, with a large, private, wild 'garden' full of native plants/flowers, and birds - canaries dominate, but there are also flyby's of both local pigeons, amongst other endemics. "Very happy with our stay in this property. Although basic it was adequately furnished for our needs. Aldea blanco is perfectly placed for beach or exploring the island. Aldi, Lidl and many other stores close by. Airport 10 minutes away. Ignore previous comments regarding dogs barking. We stayed 3 weeks and this was never an issue. Before leaving we didn’t hesitate to book for next winter"

"A great place to stay with a great host. The apartment is just a few miles from the coast and so it was a few degrees cooler and therefore much more pleasant than down on the main resorts. It also has amazing views of the coast. The apartment was clean, spacious and well-equipped. We enjoyed using the gardens around the apartment and the good sized swimming pool. "If you want a quiet stay in the mountains, in a beautifully restored old house, then this is for you. I loved this place, especially once I got the fire going and a good meal with wine. It is like going back in time, so much character and tasteful antique decor. Its only a 7 min drive to the coast road. There are tapas bars near by which I didn't try, as was happy to cook. "If you're looking for a place to recharge your batteries this is it. Took a bit of finding (keep going to end of the road when you turn onto Camino del Chamizo) and the roads are very steep, but was worth the effort. The house is well equipped and spacious. The views from the outside area are spectacular. Would definitely recommend a stay here and we will hopefully be back."

"Host is very helpful and supportive. The cottage has a great interior design with an antique touch and interesting wallphotos showing the area. Exterior is super. With a barbeque area with a n outdoor kitchenette .The area itself is close to the town and the three city of Porto de la Cruz is close. Only problem was that our GPS always showed the worst way to get to the south side.. .We enjoyed our stay."

"Es ist ein wunderschöner Flecken auf unserer Erde und tausend Mal schöner als jedes Hotelzimmer. Die Unterkunft ist zwar klein, aber grundsätzlich mit allem versehen, was man im Urlaub braucht. Selbst das Internet ist rasend schnell! Am besten ist aber der traumhafte Außenbereich mit tollen Plätzen, die alle einen wunderschönen Blick haben. Wir hatten eine Woche mit recht viel Regen, trotzdem haben wir es genießen können!"
