"I cannot say enough wonderful things about Steam House. Valentina was amazing and made sure we were well taken care of for our stay. The staff stocks the room with an abundant selection of snacks and pastries, drinks, even a meat and cheese tray. I was worried about the lively bar just below the room, but the windows are surprisingly soundproof and we slept like logs. Quick ten minute walk to the city center and more choices for food than you'll know what to do with. Highly recommend. "

"This is a charming and warm historical property and well worth my visit for the one night. I stayed here. The family is warm and caring and makes my trip so much more enjoyable as I sit in their backyard amongst fields of agricultural pursuits with wheat and other products in the process of growing, the sounds of songbirds and the neighboring roosters which did not make any sound thank God last night or this morning along with the hen add to the wonderful ambience. I am delighted I stayed here....

"After booking and before arrival, communication was very easy and fast and complete. The whole place is spotlessly clean. This is the first and only place I did not mind not having a private bathroom. Any time of day it was clean as if it had just been cleaned. "It was a single unit flat which we liked. It was absolutely good for privacy and quietness. The space inside the flat was very well organised, but small. It is close to the city, but at the same time quite and far from concrete and buildings. It was a pleasant stay, and with the good weather, in spring or summer it should be amazing! We staid in late October and it was rainy, so couldn’t enjoy the full potential of the property. "
