"This guest house is like a hostel in many ways but with the creative use of one lot not a huge property as I thought it would be. We had booked a tent experience which is a screen tent, holding a bed, night tables, lamp and fan, below a roof and side walls. Our unit had a whole side section about 6ft without a barrier so we could see to the next tent, wooden slats around the tent are not together which lets air flow in but gives little privacy. "This lovely place is a piece of Magnetic Island's history, apparently a former recreational facility for soldiers. Unit 6 is a light-filled unit with steep stairs on either side, ceiling fans in every room, a very minimal, older kitchen and amazing views of the national park, generous courtyard and gorgeous pool. Luxury it isn't, but it is such a lovely space, I would stay there again in a heartbeat."
