"Bedroom was comfortable with a good, hot shower. Bed was really good and well needed after a long day exploring. Loved all the little hooks around the room for hanging stuff. (Would have liked a drying room in the hotel for our wet things!) The food options were good as was the bar (if both a little pricey compared to UK prices) Roof terrace was nice to look out over the little town. Bakery and supermarket very close for bits and pieces. Walkable in a few minutes. Would definitely return here. We had a hire car and it was about 45 mins to the airport. On the golden circle though so easy to access all roads to wherever we needed to go. "

"My son and I spent three nights at this hotel. This is a hotel that caters to horse lovers and riders. Though we did not do any horse back riding, we did appreciate that each room was dedicated to a past or present horse on the premises. A plaque with the horse's name and other information was next to each hotel room. The room and bathroom were very clean. There is a restaurant on the premises for dinner and breakfast. The breakfast buffet was extensive and dinner was a la carte and delicious. "

"The cottage met our expectations. We wanted a rural location with a hot tub and centrally located in the Golden Circle. This was exactly what we got. Staff was very responsive to our questions and asks. I would definitely come back to this location again. "

"Such a unique and amazing experience... our bubble was cozy and felt like we were the only people in the world! The women that checked us in was super funny and nice... and as a side note. . I booked thru hotels.com but accidentally booked for the wrong date (off by one day)... since it was 3rd party vendor i was told theres nothing that can be done ... After contacting resort... they totally switched my date and accommodated my mistake.... i still cant thank them enough!!!"

"The property is a typical, warm and friendly country inn, nestled on the outskirts of Thingvellir National Park. It is an easy drive to many amazing natural landmarks including Thingvellir, Silfra Fissure, Geysir, Gullfoss waterfall, Secret Lagoon thermal springs, and much more. The included breakfast was excellent, as was the buffet dinner they offered in their restaurant. We stayed two nights and saw the aurora from the parking lot both nights. The rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here."
