"Used hotel for a quick stop late at night on long drive home. Very Affordable and one of the cleaner budget friendly hotels we have stayed at. Can hear people in next rooms so if your a light sleeper be careful. Room 120 needs WD-40 put on the door hinges for sure as was opened and closed all night long. Once we told them to stop was a very quiet night after that. Would use again for a quick stay to refresh "

"Cheap motel , no breakfast. Room smelled a bit but bedding was surprisingly nice. So we're all the cats outside. Have gotten a little particular in my years of travel so wouldn't recommend this place unless you just need a place to sleep while driving the Blue Ridge parkway"

"Location, location, location! So quiet and peaceful. We stayed during winter so even more peaceful. Did not catch and fish but were told they migrate in winter. That was evident as we are avid anglers. Mt. Airy has all services and supplies one might need plus plenty of places to eat and historical things to do. The cons: Well water with sulfur smell. "Nicest couple ever! Had OJ, milk, cinnamon bread and Reese’s peanut butter cups in kitchen upon arrival. Had wonderful animals like goats, guineas, a cat named Mr. Pringles, ducks, and a rabbit. Beautiful country setting. Not in city but only about 8 minutes to Mount Airy. The cabin was beautifully decorated inside and out. Also, very clean! We will be back! "
