"Another enjoyable stay at this business orientated hotel. Although catering for conferences the Woodlands Grange is ideal for a short stay visiting the likes of Stoneleigh. Check-in was efficient and receptionist even helped with the EV Charger. Because of a conference/function the restaurant was closed but they did cater for us with Bar Meals in the bar. Limited choice but something everyone. Rooms are nicely furnished if a little on the hot side so sleeping was a bit uncomfortable. Breakfast...

"A 1 night stay for work reasons. The pub and food are excellent with a good selection at a reasonable price. My room was comfortable but very cold due to the old leaking sash windows. All in all for the price it's ok for a 1 night stay. "

"The White Lion is a nice pub but, unfortunately, my room was very small with a tiny bathroom. I retired early but the noise from the pub was very loud. Food was ok but not spectacular."

"This is our second trip in six months to the Red Lion and we fully intend to book again. We stayed in the Napoleon room as we did on our previous trip. The only reason that I could not give an excellent review on every point was that I did not check the breakfast box in arrival only to find out the following morning that it was incomplete and only set for one guest which was disappointing when we had a big day ahead of us. "Lovely welcome, clean, warm comfortable room. The only problem was, I was unable to eat at the premises on Monday evening this time of year. Apparently they start serving.evening meals again on Monday evenings come March time."

"My only worry was the noise from outside the room from the kitchen extractor fan, or something. However it was turned off from 21:45 to 07:00ish, if I remember correctly. So no complaints. "

"Really lovely staff and the check in experience was very pleasant. The room was just about acceptable in terms of cleanliness but the toilet was not clean and still had used paper in it. The room and the surroundings were very tired and beyond worn in some places, especially the carpet on the stairs which was very dirty. As there was no breakfast, we could not comment on it. It’s such a shame because the setting is quite pleasant and it could be a lovely place to visit. "
