"Had a great time at the cabin. It had everything we needed for our stay. The cabin was very quiet and comfortable. We hiked all day in the beautiful New River Gorge, Hawksnest State Park, and Babcock State Park. Saw hundreds of waterfalls after all the rain. The hot tub was just what we needed after long days on the trails. The only thing I would suggest is a hot tub cover lift as the cover was heavy and difficult to get back on. Other than that everything was great. We would definitely return if we come back to the area. eeded "

"We loved our time at Fern Creek Cabins. It was the perfect get away. The property is just enough removed from town that you enjoy the peace of nature but within minutes you can be in the middle of everything. Access to trails was great. Coming back to the cabin and enjoying the hot tub and puzzles and board games, it was just extra sweet time "

"Our family traveled in from Pittsburgh for a few day getaway to visit New River Gorge. The location of the property is very rural on a dirt road. There are some steep sections to drive on to get to the property, but we did not have an issue. There are a number of abandoned homes with a lot of junk outside that sours the beauty of the woods. With that being said, the rental property was very nice. The Cabin has a welcoming feel and has every amenity that a renter would need. Krista, the owner, was very responsive. Our family thought the beds were very comfortable. There were a number of quiet spots on the outside deck to sit and relax. We unfortunately had very stormy weather so we could not use the fire pit. We really enjoyed the books at the cabin that have information about the mining towns, photos of how the cabin was built, West Virginia cookbooks, and ghost tales. "
