"We stayed here during one of the hottest weeks of the summer in Seoul and it was a beautiful, air conditioned oasis that we spent more time in than we thought we would. The house is so well designed to maximize the spaces. It has everything you need and is aesthetically beautiful to boot. The host speaks wonderful English and is incredibly thoughtful. He met us at the street to show us how to get in and to explain all the features of the house. This is not the typical Hanok. It's an art space....

It really felt like a home that someone cares about. Very clean, comfortable beds, thoughtful design touches, and Kitae was an EXCELLENT host - very hospitable and proactive. "It took some understanding on the shower…as it was cold water only at first. Once we figured that out, all was good with it! It’s a little small, but since we were out and about almost all the days, it worked out. The price was great! The host got back to us promptly when we had a few questions the first days. "When you go to the museum and see a historic map of Seoul, you can find this street in the center. It was a walk to all the sites l. There was a traditional village, historic shopping area, all the palaces, and the market all within a mile. A historic looking house in a residential neighborhood with all the modern amenities. What a find."
