"Wayside Inn in Ellicott City, MD is a beautiful 18th century home. The owner / host is great. We stayed on the third floor. Even though it is very close to a freeway, we were not bothered by any noise. The food was delicious. Our group of three had a small separate dining room to ourselves. The home is charming and full of period pieces, but bathrooms have been modernized and the beds were very comfortable. This was much more fun than being in a hotel. Definitely worth checking out. "

"This B&B is a rare gem. The rooms are brilliant. George is warm and excellent host. Any disadvantage from being a bit out from the centre of town is overcome as George provides daily drop off to and pick up from the local MET station which is a speedy, safe and clean service. Highly recommended."

"Stayed this past weekend for a football game at Catholic University. The location was close to the fields, so that was a bonus. Getting there from the airport wasn’t difficult either. Parking was not ideal. There supposedly two first come first serve parking spots behind a teal house, but good luck finding those spots. Street parking is limited as you have to have a zone 5 pass.
