"If you are looking for peace, quiet and the experience of remote living in Scotland the White House is just perfect. Car necessary as it’s a 25 min drive to nearest town with facilities. We had hired cars which was just as well as there was no way our own cars could have coped with the terrain and the snowy weather. "We had a lovely stay in the River House in Little Dunkeld. The house was spotless and well equipped with everything we needed. It is situated close the the famous Birnham Oak tree with lovely river walks right on the doorstep. We would happily recommend the house and area as an ideal spot for a getaway. Thank you."

"Outstanding place for a St Andrews golf trip for 4 players. Each of the 4 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms are perfect. Kitchen is very modern and well outfitted. Family room comfortable enough for twice the size and there is a cozy outdoor dining area. Walk to dozens of restaurants and pubs and easy 15 minute walk to the Old Course. We even walked over with our clubs on our backs...so easy."
