It was beautiful and well kept, perfect little gem with a big property, covered semi heated pool and all the things you need in the kitchen. "Unfortunately the maintenance was very neglected, several things either didn’t work, were of poor quality, or old and dirty. Having to deal with repairs during your vacation is a real pain and waste of your time. The property is very dangerous for children as well as the elderly. Three is no grill outdoors (just a stone pit), there is a stairway with no railing (can you imagine?!?), home is located on a nameless dirt road high up a winding mountain which is a real pain having to go into town...

"Villa Anka is a litlle bit difficult to find as this address is not on google maps.The location is really in the sky, good for hiking. Not so convenient to go down to the sea as the road is really difficult, steep and narrow. The house is older, but still fine. Great collection of music - 60s, 70s- we really liked that. Unfortunatelly no free wifi. The view from the balcony was awsome."

Be prepared for the 15 min drive up small mountain roads from Alassio, lots of blind corners and hair-pin bends which mean you don’t pop out for milk etc easily. "My wife and I stayed 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the stay and property. Jessica was responsive and very helpful. It is way up the hill, so be prepared to drive to the beach. Would be even better with 2 couples where you could enjoy some meals together on the patio, overlooking the sea. The views of the sea from the house and patio are really incredible. Very tastefully and artistically decorated. Enjoyed dinner at La Ruggia and visiting Finalborgo. Highly recommend!"
