None of the four advertised bedrooms were usable due to toxic extremely strong smell of the mildew. "We had a great time at this wonderful villa. It is beautiful, clean, and well kept. The views are wonderful, and the things to do in Alassio include great food, fun at the beach, a wonderful town to explore, and a great atmosphere to enjoy. The owners were great hosts. Having to deal with repairs during your vacation is a real pain and waste of your time. The property is very dangerous for children as well as the elderly. Three is no grill outdoors (just a stone pit), there is a stairway with no railing (can you imagine?!?), home is located on a nameless dirt road high up a winding mountain which is a real pain having to go into town...

It fully catered for all our needs, included a need to relax in the evening after sight seeing or a day at the beach. Further, the garden was lovely and enabled us to have breakfast in the sun! We had 2 teenagers with us and the WiFi worked well which kept them happy. We found the pool a bit small for us and preferred to walk to the beach at San Lorenzo. We would return but not in August when parking is stressful wherever you go! Communication with Marjolein was very good."
