"The beauty of the neighborhood and the hotel are obvious but the hotel facility itself is a bit faded and in need of some reinvestment. The staff was very kind but as English speakers we had more difficulty communicating than we did in Ecuador and reinforced the need for us to better learn Spanish. The breakfast was nice. Sound carries in the hotel and the walls are a little thin. I love history so it was fine for me. This is not a 5 star hotel by international standards in my opinion but...

Very Up market Hotel and neighbourhood, great restaurants and bars also, the Hotel Staff are professional and yet very friendly.
