"This property was as listed, had what we needed including beach chairs, umbrella, and coolers. It was in a great location close to the beach and a 10 minute walk to town. The bedroom AC units were wonderful. It was fairly hot in the main part of the house in the afternoon, but we were out and about most days anyways! It definitely has a “family vacation home” vibe, as listed- it was well loved and had the wear and tear that comes along with years of use. And ants (only in the kitchen)- they...

The spacious interior areas and outdoor tropical grilling and dining lanai create plenty of zones for everyone to unwind, relax or connect.

"We had a wonderful time in Hanalei! The home is just around the corner from the beach (<5min walk) and was a wonderful retreat to eat, sleep, and relax when not at the beach. We would absolutely stay here again during our next trip to this magical place!"

"The house was great, the furniture unique, and the view was stunning. It was in a nice, clean neighborhood and was mostly peaceful until the roosters started crowing. The only issue we had was minor. We’ve never stayed in a property that didn’t have soap for the shower. There was soap for the bathroom sink, but only one of the pumps would work. We don’t usually travel with soap and shampoo anymore because virtually everyone provides something. We just had to make a run to get some the next...

"1The location of property was great with a balcony that overlooked the bay. Beach was within walking distance as were Dukes restaurant and Skinny Mikes with great shaved ice and ice cream. The place is basic, no bells or whistles, but it was very pleasant and was clean, beds were comfortable. It was a reasonable price."

"This vacation rental is beautiful! The location is perfect with golf course & ocean views. There is a place to watch the beautiful sunsets just a short walk down the golf course We even saw a beautiful small wedding on hole #7 on Friday late afternoon. We enjoyed our vacation and will definitely return. "

"The house was perfect for what we needed. Excellent location as we were right in the heart of Hanalei and so close to all coffee shops and shopping and restaurants. A quick walk to the beach or a bike ride. Buggy at the house made it easy to bring the beach chairs and umbrella to the beach as well. They have thought of everything."

"Driving up to the property hat has some cute and updated looking properties brings a bit of disappointment when you realize this is the house. But then you realize how close the beach path is, and that you can walk to town where the market and shops are. There are fixture updates, but the kitchen needs to be updated, too. But, again, if they do update, then this property may then be out of our budget. A great place overall."

"We’ve stayed here twice already. It’s an unbeatable location with beach access on a pristine quiet beach. It’s next to a river full of palm trees with a jungle look. The property is huge with a large private lawn/garden. The only ding on this listing is that it’s an outdated beach bungalow. "It was great having a kitchen area and a living room area. It felt like a spacious apartment rather than a hotel room. Location was great and the office staff worked with us even when our flight was delayed enough to miss our first night Thank you!"

"Beautiful natural views, friendly wildlife & a kind, cozy place. The Kaua’i Inn is situated underneath gorgeous mountains and is lush with beautiful flowers and tropical flora. Vivid flowers dot the common areas of the inn like hibiscuses and plumerias, giving it a striking splash of color. Wild chickens & peacocks freely walk around the property. These birds are friendly, which make for great photo opportunities. Cute, small geckos also call the property home, as well as several neighborhood house cats. The staff is very warm and friendly, ready to help even without asking, like when one staff member kindly brought us extra towels while we swam in the pool. The Kaua’i inn is very cozy and our room was the perfect size for a vacationing couple looking to relax and enjoy the slow, easygoing pace of Kaua’i. It was very neat and clean. We are very happy with our time there. Mahalo, Kaua’i Inn, for making our stay as beautiful as your inn."
