"House was very clean and owners seemed kind and thoughtful. They was a bottle of wine waiting for us at arrival. Beds and linens were very comfortable and shower had great water pressure. The view from the balcony is splendid with cozy outdoor furniture and an area for yoga or meditation. We just found the decor to be a little schizophrenic and overwhelming. This is a great place for two adults and a couple of kids to stay. If two couples are going, they would need to be very comfortable...

"Decent rental with good amenities. Could be closer to some areas of town with more stuff to do if you care about that. The biggest problem was that it's close to a train track and trains went by very frequently, and they were both loud and they shook the entire house every time. You get used to it, but if you are a light sleeper or have a small kids, it might be a concern."

"Overall was perfect. Property was well equipped with everything you need from cooking to laundry. Very well designed and had a wonderful New York City loft vibe. It even had all original wood floors which brings me to my only problem. There are multiple areas where the floor nails are raised and could potentially be a pain in your foot. "Upstairs apartment is well furnished and very clean. Couch in living room converts to a bed. Lovely deck with seating to watch the llamas, alpacas, and goats. Great spot for morning coffee. Recommend. "

"Property is very nice but as soon as we arrived we noticed a disgusting smell coming from the running water (smelled like rotting eggs). Told the owner who clearly didnt think it was that bad or urgent because she didnt bother calling a plumber during the 4 days we were there. Outside of that, there were no major issues but it was not fun showering in "egg salad" water the entire stay. Asked host for a small credit to which she responded "I expected more of u". So theres that."

"The apartment was great. The location was perfect for some local hiking. Parking was available in the back of the house. The owner lives on the first floor. To have a good check-in experience, make sure you visit his rental website to reply to check-in questions - replying to emails from that website will not reach him. The owner is not necessarily on the property during check-in hours and needs to know your planned arrival time. "
