"We booked two rooms. The one the kids stayed in was lovely and cosy. Ours was freezing. Despite the staff saying they were on it, I don't think a fix was even possible. The beds were clear and comfortable. The hotel building is marvellous and all the staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. I think it would be great for a family with primary school age kids. There are loads of board games; a pool that, isn't lifeguarded but also isn't too deep (it's a bit cold but kids don't usually mind that). It's a very short walk (5 mins to the main street) but you need to negotiate some muddy steps - no good for a family with a buggy or mobility issues. We had a fantastic stay. "

"Beautiful grounds along the River Tay with woodland walks. Close to Dunkeld town. Spa facilities at the hotel are very good with a decent sized pool, Jacuzzi, steam room and gym available to guests. The breakfast is one of the best I've had at a hotel. Used both the bar and restaurant for evening meals. Service very good and food excellent. Room clean, tidy and comfortable. Looking forward to returning here. "

"The check-in by Shevani was probably the most efficient and friendly I've had in at least 10 years by any hotel. For me, this tends to give you an idea of how your stay will be. True to form, the service at the bar on both nights was superb, the same efficiency and friendliness, i was due in to Dundee city centre and ended up staying at the bar, great engagement with all the customers."
