"This was a beautiful historic home on an expansive property. Plenty of room for ten adults and beautifully decorated. Nice welcome gifts were on site at check in, all amenities provided, communication with owner was prompt and service was exceptional. Our adult kids enjoyed the pool, we had 2 beautiful sunsets and crystal clear starry skies at night. It was hot outside, but AC worked well, even though this is a historic renovated home. Home was clean but could use some extra work. carpet cleaned of stains. loveseat was not useable as seemed to be broke or just that it was worn out, was unable to use without putting several pillows on seat, otherwise when you set down on it you literally went to the floor. back deck should have been cleaned of excessive leaves, spider webs, and stale cigarette butts in container before our arrival. "Highly recommended! Chris and Chuck were amazing hosts. The cottage is very welcoming, comfortable, clean and nicely decorated for the season. It was stocked with everything you could need, the fresh eggs were a nice treat. It was great for our family of 5. We spent a lot of time outside and sitting under the gazebo with a fire. "Attended a conference at Barren River Resort State Park nearby. The lodge was sold out, so we needed a place nearby. We were lucky to find Dandy TImes, which is less than two miles from the State Park. The place was exceptionally clean, neat and tidy and everything was in perfect working order. Getting in the house when we arrived was a snap, due to great instructions from the owner. Communications were friendly, accurate and easy. I'd definitely stay there again!"
