"Anna was the most helpful accommodating hostess. The property was a bit difficult to find but once we found it it was amazing. A bit difficult for parking but we are finding that to be a problem all over Portugal. We would be happy to stay again 😊 "

"Loved the pool, very nice hosts, great breakfast, room was nice, however the description of amenities is not accurate - there was not air conditioning in the room, or is there a restaurant or pool side bar, which left us stuck for lunch when enjoying the pool. We booked a rook with river view but did not receive it. That all being said we did enjoy the place - but just beware or what is not accurate "

"great accommodation but SO hard to find. the directions given in the confirmation mail and googlemap is so out it is not funny. we had to ask directions on 3 occasions after we reached the spot indicated by googlemap. it would have been a lot simpler if the future guests are directed to the RTA sports ground along the same road as this is where the reception lies. also no wifi in the studio."

"We had a lovely holiday in Alvarenga. Manuel and his family were warm and welcoming and we loved attempting to chat round the pool in French and Spanish! It's a beautiful area with green eucalyptus hills and the Geo park provided some interesting spots to visit. "We spent four enjoyable days here. Our hosts were very generous, giving us lots of local insight for exploring the area, as well as some fruit grown on their own property. We enjoyed relaxing in the sun by the pool, and all the flowers and trees in the yard. Definitely a beautiful spot to stay!"
