"We enjoyed this Scottish “steading”. It was a charming farmhouse attached with other houses. The neighbors were friendly and helpful when we first got there. The house was plenty big enough for the 9 of us. The only downfall was the very slow Internet. But that wasn’t the fault of the owner. The house was about a mile outside of town which made it a very quiet stay. "

"Nice flat just north of old town Stirling. Easy in/out, on site parking. Nice little back yard to sit outside in goid weather. Kitchen is tiny, but is well equipped. Convenient to grocery stores and restaurants. "

"The location to Stirling was great. Very quiet. Siri had a hard time finding it (not sure why). Also, we suggested to owners put their number of the side of the house which faces the street since the picture shows the front which is not the street view."

"Our stay at the Wallace Lodge was seemless from booking to checking out. Wallace communicated with us immediately after booking and advised us of all pertinent information needed for the stay. We took a drive from London to the Wallace Lodge and he waited till our arrival at 2130 to personally greet us and show us around. Everything is as described within the listing. "I can’t put into words how stunning this place is! The host had the place all decorated for Christmas since we were there for the festivities which was great as we had a little one with us. The house is very spacious and was spotless! Only bit of feedback I have is that the kitchen utensils could be doing with an update. I was cooking christmas dinner which was a bit harder as there was no working potato peeler and there was not a small knife to use, only large ones. There was also no whisk but...

"I can’t even begin to describe how perfect this estate is whether you’re a couple or a large party. There are enough rooms and beds and baths to accommodate all. Betty was very responsive. "A nice relaxing weekend in a beautiful property, very clean, parking outside the door and very helpful owners. Check-in was easy with the key left in a safe place, also left tea, coffee, milk, prosecco and chocolates were left for our arrival. The hot tub on the terrace was very welcome after being out walking all day."
