"Having received 2 emails stating check in was 2pm we were disappointed to receive email the day before arriving that it was 3pm. When we phoned to enquire about discrepancy we were told 2pm was a mistake and they refused to change it. "The property was in a lovely location and handy for local amenities! Very quiet and lovely to sit outside and listen to the bagpipes on a morning! The only down side was the drive down to the property and the potholes if they were filled in it would have been a much easier drive in and out. "

"We had an amazing stay at the Larch Cabin and particularly enjoyed the serenity of the location as well as the charm of the wood stove. That being said, a toaster oven would have been useful to be able to have a quick breakfast (i.e. without tending the fire for an hour). The bed, blankets, and pillows were super comfortable. We stayed 3 nights and I would recommend this as the bare minimum since there are a lot of things to see in the area and just relaxing at the cabin really is what it’s all...
