"This is a gem of a hostel, you can't go wrong. We had a 6 bed room to ourselves and, while initially looking a little on the cramped side, it was no bother at all as we mainly spent our time out and about. Spotlessly clean, great en suite shower, firm mattresses (which I thought were great, but guess that's down to personal preference!) The hostel is a 25 min walk from the centre of Cologne (Dom & railway station etc) and located a few mins walk from the buzzing Belgian Quarter, but still...

"Very good location - super central. Especially good location for gay travellers, as it’s in the middle of all the gay venues (10 min walk both sides). It was a bit expensive considering it’s condition, but the room was big and clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Service was friendly."

"The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. My room was clean, and the bed comfortable (although the mattress was almost too soft for my liking). You have a local subway/tram station right outside the hotel as well as several restaurant and grocery store options. I would stay here again. "

"Nice hotel great restaurant and exceptional breakfast. Heating system was not good enough and phone was broken so I needed to go to the lobby to ask to fix. The staff is exceptional nice and helpful. But some maintenance work is a must."
