"This is a great hotel, very convenient for visiting the Christmas markets. We enjoyed their touch of coffee and water available and some gluhwein occasionally. Only complaint was our room description- 1 bedroom suite in every other hotel we’ve stayed in has meant a separate room for sleeping and this is what we expected as we were travelling with 2 older teen boys. "This is a gem of a hostel, you can't go wrong. We had a 6 bed room to ourselves and, while initially looking a little on the cramped side, it was no bother at all as we mainly spent our time out and about. Spotlessly clean, great en suite shower, firm mattresses (which I thought were great, but guess that's down to personal preference!) The hostel is a 25 min walk from the centre of Cologne (Dom & railway station etc) and located a few mins walk from the buzzing Belgian Quarter, but still...

"Very good location - super central. Especially good location for gay travellers, as it’s in the middle of all the gay venues (10 min walk both sides). It was a bit expensive considering it’s condition, but the room was big and clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Service was friendly."

"Third stay in a row within a month, and satisfied. The only little thing I have to mention this time is that the sink in the bathroom was super tiny. I never had this issue with the other rooms I have stayed on before. Other than that, everything was great. The staff is super friendly and helpful. "
