"A lovely relaxing stay. Room very comfortable & I was made to feel very welcome on a very wet & cold evening. Bed very comfy & it was great to be have a bath in the en-suite. "

" The staff were genuinely friendly, and keen to help with any request in a warm and intelligent way, however busy they were. The bar had good chairs for relaxing in with a book and a drink, and there was another room to sit in too. The bedroom was clean and the bed comfortable. A really excellent breakfast, with lovely croissants, or the full English, with vegetarian option. I hope I manage to stay here again!"

"lovely old fashioned hotel. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable- a lovely hotel. Bar was not overly warm due to log fire out of action but overall a lovely hotel. Breakfast was excellent. Booked to stay again"
