"We were made to feel very welcome - greeted with a box of home grown delicious strawberries and cherries. The facilities were excellent - and so was the weather, so use of the swimming pool was much appreciated. Lagnes itself is a nice quiet village and we found it a good base for cycling to other places of interest."

"Apartment was great for me (solo senior traveller). Roomy, comfortable, clean. Everything (except oven) for extended stay. Good wifi. Loft bedroom not an issue for me (might be if you’re mobility challenged). A/C and heat (weather was hot and cool during my stay) worked great. Walking distance (<1.5 km) to everything in the old town, main bus station and train station. Timely, thorough communication with host. Thank you Laura, for a wonderful place to stay in Aix."

"The apartment had everything we need for a short stay. The photographs were clearly taken sometime ago and the place could do with some re-decoration. The bed was not at all comfortable for me and it is also worth noting that there are a lot of stairs up to the apartment which may be an issue for some. The location is excellent and we had no problem with noise."

"We loved staying so close to the river with all the restaurants and shops. And of course the marche! Isabelle was very helpful from check in to departure. We went to all her recommended restaurants and the ice cream shop called Maison Freto. So delicious. There is no elevator to the third floor apartment but it was not an issue for us. If you are arriving by car, ask for directions to access the back lanes. Overall a very enjoyable stay."

Le seul bémol c'est peut être le bruit des voitures pour ceux qui aiment vraiment la tranquillité, mais sinon c'est largement supportable. "This is a fabulous apartment that is even better than the pictures. It felt brand new, very clean, and well decorated. The kitchen is well appointed. Having air conditioning was a real plus. The view over the rooftops and of the local church spire was amazing. The location in town was perfect. This will definitely be our first choice when we return to Aix."
