"Lovely hotel. It’s very nice that they have a complimentary shuttle into town and a symbiotic relationship with their sister property in town, Le Normandy. Be sure to check out live piano music there on the weekend. Beware that they don’t speak any English at this property, which I found surprising for a four star. "

"It was a lovely hotel in the heart of the city. It was easy to walk everywhere and the hotel itself was very nice and clean. The room was exceptional, especially for the good price. We highly recommend it. "

"What a delightful hotel. The rooms were modern, stylish, clean as a whistle and well equipped. The building is equally stylish and well maintained. We didn't eat in the dining room as it was very busy but crossed the road to a restaurant clearly popular with the locals where I enjoyed the best Cafe Gourmand of my life, for a very reasonable price. We could only stay for a single night but, if I'm in Normandy again, especially if I arrived off the evening boat into Le Havre, it would be my first...

"Although near the beach, the hotel is not on the beach, as it appears in the photos. Rooms are renovated but very simple, smelly toilet area and shower-head that sprayed on the ceiling. Not a bad stay, but definitely not a 4-star hotel, 3-star at best. Not worth the price, unfortunately. "

"Everything was great about this place. Super clean, right in the beach, and close to downtown and the casino. There was just one really odd element- I tried to buy a bottle of wine at the bar downstairs to take up to my room, and this seemed to be a big hassle. The bartender had to call some one to find out how to ring it up and the tried to give me 4 glasses- I can’t imagine it’s a foreign concept for someone to want a bottle of wine in their room. "

"All was well. Except for two things For an hotel of this class there should be USB ports to charge phones and ipads in the room. There weren’t and it wasn’t easy to recharge. The plugs weren’t firm enough to stand the plug converters and there was no surface near the bed or near a table. The staff was very helpful but some looked like students who were a bit at sea. Maybe think about more training? But except for this, all was fine"

"Had an enjoyable stay here. The restaurant was very good and also the bar snacks. Lovely pool although crowded when we visited in November. Very close to the port so perfect for an overnight stay before the early morning ferry. Would stay again."

"Location was great for exploring Caen. The staff is young, energetic and friendly. Very positive hostel experience. Young people and family friendly place. "Very good stay. Top-notch breakfast, very friendly, welcoming staff. Clean room, comfortable bed but negative point. Noise from fridge constant all night, with more or less noise depending on the time of day. And sometimes, you could even hear the rooms next door taking their showers."
