"The outside is gorgeous and has really cute grounds, just an immediate good vibe. We ended up with a room much larger than expected - it felt very luxurious! The inside decor was all quite nice as well. The employee there was so helpful and kind. Just an overall really lovely experience!"

"We enjoyed our stay apart from the fire alarm going off in the night - couldn't be helped. Service was good apart from day two breakfast. It was very busy and you appeared to run out of plates quickly and some of the food. Overall very good and would highly recommend. "

"Value for money it was pretty good. However having known McDonald Hotels for 40 years there were some slightly disappointing things. TV did not really work. Bar, which served Henricks Gin, had no cucumber. Barman said Chef would not provide it. Not sure what the 'Catch of the Day' was. we were told Cod. A few minutes later another table were quoted Hake. So, not sure what we had. For sweet we ordered Lemon Tart with rhubarb compote. It came with red berries compote and no mention. Tbh not really...

"What a pleasant surprise as it was not what I expected. Check in across the road at an enticing Indian Restaurant - able to safely park car in the Restaurant Car Park - room was very clean, comfortable bed, great shower, larger than usual TV. Room looked out on a busy dual carriageway but noise limited by glazed window and noise from pub downstairs was bearable and ended at closing time. Pricing was incredible. Will definitely be back."

"Love this hotel - but oh boy did they charge a fortune for this weekend when we came to an event. £550 for 2 nights and this didn’t even include breakfast! I wish that someone would stop hotels being able to make this amount of profit just because there’s a concert on. "
