We traveled around several areas south of Lisbon but this Eco Lodge was the most wonderful experience of all -- we stayed in both the Tree House and the Bungalow. Manuel & Hélène the owners were so lovely, warm and gracious -- helpful in guiding us to one of the most beautiful beaches we've ever seen and other sites in the area. "This property is about 6 miles from the nearest town, off the main road with a lovely view of the valley. We were given wine on arrival and the owner (who lives next door) was always on hand for queries. We had spacious living conditions, large beds, comfortable chairs and large showers, all of which we look for in a property. We ate all our meals outside under the covered terrace. The pool was just about warm enough for us to use. We were able to visit many local towns but a car is essential....
