"Staff was great. Rooms were nice and clean. The only issue I have with the hotel is the people smoke right in front of the entrance and you have to walk through a cloud of smoke at certain times. "

"Soon to be wife requested an "experience" this year as a gift. And found being informed on an old mill turned cabin. The location made our Christmas that much more special being our first real snowy white memory. Cabin is unique and a view to envy and remember. The provided supplies and items in the kitchen cabinets were a huge help even while bringing so much of our own already. Great fireplace and the available trails are amazing. Truly a great stay. Much mentioned like others is the sulphur smell only from hot water. Honestly a little shock at first but no harm overall. Big thank you to the host as renting a AWD, Jeep in our case was much needed to escape that grand incline! Will look forward to booking again,!"

"We’ve stayed at Cabin Creek multiple times and will be returning again in the future. The location provides a retreat from the hustle, and the family time we enjoy together is priceless. The host is very nice, and everything onsite is as advertised. I hesitate to even review this property for fear that after it is discovered, availability for my own future rentals may be limited! Still, I do hope that others may be able to find the peace and solitude that my family does at Cabin Creek."

"Peter was a wonderful host. Checked in periodically if he saw us out and about, but otherwise things were private. It was a great place to visit and have our family Christmas with our daughter who teaches at the college, our son who flew in from Florida, our granddaughter From the Hudson Valley And a short drive from Pennsylvania, where we live. We appreciate having the kitchen and large dining area as well as large living room. The space was very convenient. This may become an annual tradition."

"We have a thing for staying in tiny motels off the beaten path, so the Oakes Oramel Inn was perfect for us when we visited the area! The accommodations were quite pleasant with some fresh updates. Our room was well-appointed and included a microwave, mini fridge, table and chairs, large dresser with mirror, queen bed, and nightstand. A basket of complimentary snacks and bottled water awaited us on our table upon arrival. Towels were refreshed daily, and the shower was hot (with great water pressure, too). Checkin and checkout were completely painless. Twas a perfectly enjoyable stay, and I would highly recommend it to anyone passing through!"
