"We only stayed a Locanda La Rosa for one night. We used it as an overnight stay before flying home from Cagliari the following morning. The property is well located for visiting the Barumini nuraghes. Parking was on the street but wasn't a problem as Pauli Arberei is a very small rural village. The highlight of Locanda La Rosa is really the hosts themselves. Fabiano and Maria Rosa were such lovely people who really seemed to sincerely enjoy looking after us. Although we had some language...

I was without a car, and L'Abete is a quarter to a half mile away from the nearest good restaurants and sites. But it was a nice stay; and even better if you want some quiet rest time!"

"The property itself is beautiful in a historical area of Gesturi . Ignazio, the owner is very accommodating and helpful and friendly . Their family make a delicious bread from scratch for breakfast . They make wine , they make cheese, they provide fruits from their farm and more . For breakfast, it’s all organic food from their farm . "

"When someone says “feel at home”, this is what it should be. There wasn’t anything I lacked, and the hosts went out of their way to ensure everything was comfortable. Breakfast on a veranda with a view, the sounds of birds and sheep moving up into the hills in the morning, it was lovely. An excellent hidden gem, I plan to come back again for sure. Grazie!"

"You need to know that the villa is not crowded in with other vacation places in the area- it stands apart and alone above the Mediterranean. All the amenities are very good- pool is excellent! The beach is walking distance and great. Food is more of a problem as the kitchen is not set up for lots of fine cooking; there are good restaurants but know these are mostly 20-30 minutes away by car. Overall my freinds and I thought this was a superb stay."
