Everything is thoughtfully done (dog stuff- bowls, toys and a tie out/ human stuff- coffee bar, books and hammocks, a great view) it’s a beautiful, comfortable place. All communication with Amanda was easy, timely and helpful (she helped recommend a boat rental, and eased nerves about payment). It was a fantastic experience, and look forward to booking again."

"This house has everything needed for a perfect relaxing vacation. The house is centrally located between all the lakes. We were able to bring our boat and have it with us and the public launch is right across the lake. The house was tastefully decorated and the deck was very relaxing. We made use of the firepit by the lake several nights. Looking forward to returning next year. Will definitely book this house again. I highly recommend the Clam Cottage! "

"Spent a week at Loon Lodge for a family vacation. We had a great time kayaking, swimming, and hanging out by the water. The house had everything we needed--plenty of bath and beach towels, lots of floats and a lily pad mat, and fully stocked kitchen and bathroom. Our teens liked having their own space in the bunkhouse. The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing, but close to town for necessities or a meal out. We also rented a boat and it was a very easy process. Sara was very easy to communicate...

"The house and property were exactly as advertised. The description and photos capture it perfectly. The house was incredibly clean, well equipped with towels, dishes, really nice Blackstone grill, well maintained kayaks, and most everything we wanted. Owners were also fantastic and genuinely seem to care about not only the property but also us having a wonderful experience. Highly recommend the chain of lakes trip, right from their dock! "

"This property is one of the best places we have ever stayed, and this was our 3rd time back! The cabin itself is well maintained and meticulously clean. It had everything we need, including coffee! There is a telescope in the Sun porch for viewing bald eagles and other wildlife, there is a ton of space in the walk out basement for our young adult kids to play games and hang out after spending a day on the water. We kayaked and canoed every day. The owners and property manager are very responsive...

"We used this as a base for the atv trail system. Great location with plenty of parking for trailer. The cottage was comfortable and unique. Truly a nostalgic place. The boys loved the loft/bunk beds. The cottage was clean and well cared for. "

"We had a wonderfully peaceful stay, with two feet of fluffy snow over four nights. The property is absolutely beautiful, a classic northern Michigan landscape. Each day we took several long walks with our dog, over the wide trails and hills, and the rest of the time we read, cooked, and enjoyed the hot tub while snow fell all around.
