"Das Hotel liegt nah an einer Autobahnausfahrt. Entsprechend ist es ein toller Halt wenn man auf Durchreise ist. "Eine wirklich tolle Unterkunft. Das kleine separate Haus ist super romantisch und sehr gepflegt. Man findet alles, was man braucht. Die Besitzerin ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. "The location is a top the hill sides over looking the valley around the little town of Vicchio. You take a long windy road to get there, but the views and quiet are worth it. The rooms are extremely modern and well kept. Maximillian, the proprietor, personally made our breakfast each morning; which included a variety of local cheeses, meats, his own olives, preserverves, bread, and wonderful espresso offerings. Max is a wine expert and award winning "Fein Schmecker" award winner. Wonderful...

"This is a campground. We stayed in a mobile home. The mobile home was a bit grimy. They have a good restaurant, though. If you are coming in from the Via degli Dei, go around on the road. The gate on the Via degli Dei doesn’t let you in unless you call them and someone comes to open it. They do have a free shuttle to the train station. "

"Our stay at Florence Hills and Resort was great! Service was amazing, all staff was very attentive. Nice pool size and outdoor lounging and seating area to relax after walking around Florence. The suite was comfortable and very clean. We had dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed a great meal. We had the ham and cheese board, the risotto with pears and almonds, and the Fiorentina aka a huge T-bone steak. Can’t forget to mention the astonishing views of the mountains, so calming!"
