"I had a truly wonderful experience staying at Castellare for two weeks with some friends and my parents. This was a trip that had to be postponed two years(!!) due to the pandemic, so it had some pretty high expectations to live up to, and it met them all. The property was so beautiful and worked very well do our group, allowing us to get privacy when needed, and come together as a group when we wanted to. We were able to easily get into Florence when we wanted, and we’re able to take day trips...

"We enjoyed a one night stay here. The room was comfortable for my family of 5. We enjoyed the onsite swimming pool. One reason why we stayed here was to be close to Florence. We were rewarded with a straight shot right into the east side of the city in less than 30 minutes on a Saturday night. We lucked out and found parking just outside the city center. Upon our return, we used our room key to reenter the building and our apartment. One thing to note is there is steep hill from the parking area...

"When I originally booked a month-long stay at Castellare, it was definitely a leap of faith, never having been there before. It's very difficult to get a sense of the property from descriptions and photographs. The main building is on top of a hill, therefore all the pictures are taken from below and always partial. There was the most beautiful homemade breakfast from the farm every morning, and dinner every night if you would like. Be sure to check your email prior to checkin as you have to book dinner 24 hours before checkin. Our email went to spam and we missed the reservation but Alfonso was so gracious to still cook us dinner with only a few hours notice. There were kittens...
