"Hotel is well situated for exploring Chambrey, just a few minutes walk from the old city. Booked a larger room which was well appointed, but all of these rooms overlook the local outside brasserie and bar terrace which was very noisy right through to 11:30pm. We asked be moved to a different but smaller room for the next night which escaped the rooftop bar noise. In both rooms the air conditioning controls made no difference to the temperatures, even after a lesson from reception. Consequently...

"We only stayed one night, and I was okay with the Adelphia - because I booked it - but my wife didn’t like it. It’s a little tired and in need of maintenance. To use the spa you have to ask at reception for bathrobes, then traipse thru the bar to get to the spa pools, swimming pool, and sauna/hammam. We didn’t see anybody use the changing rooms; they all seemed to change in their own rooms and walk through the hotel and bar in their bathrobes. "If you don’t have a car, it is very difficult to get around as taxis and uber are limited in the area. We had multiple taxi drivers say yes and cancel. Rooms are dated and weird smell coming from the carpet. With limited transportation, we chose to eat at the hotel restaurant which was not good. We booked through Expedia and chose a pay at hotel option - and had picked to include breakfast and access to the spa. The hotel denied that we had chosen that option.
