"We loved this property. Located in the beautiful countryside of Pergusa, La Casa del Poeta is a great place to unwind after a day of site seeing. It is centrally located between Enna and Piazza del Romano and only an hour from Agrigento and the Valley of Temples. The host, Guiliana, was wonderful sharing information about the area and providing recommendations for food, sights and travel. The breakfast is included with lots of options to choose from. We will definitely be staying here again...

Another guest had a cold, I assume, and we listened to him blow his nose (or honk it) vigorously for hours. Same with toilet flushing, teeth brushing and shaving. We could hear it all. "The room was nice. Had everything we needed. Language barrier aside, the staff were friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Our passports were held overnight which was disconcerting, but normal I hear. My only complaint is the motion sensor light in the stairwell shut off mid staircase leaving us to use our cell phone lights to get up to our room."

"The pictures on the website look very welcoming and clean. In person this room was pretty much the crappiest stay of my life. The bed was so incredibly uncomfortable. the sheets were hopefully clean but the blanket had a white substance on it. The room smelled so bad of dust and chemicals it burned my nose all night and I was Ike up with a horrible headache that I can’t get rid of. The room was renovated 8 years ago but it is not kept up… definitely not cleaned properly for a nightly rental....

"Its a quiet rural area. Peaceful and relaxing. The little hamlet is walkable. Restaurants, groceries and attractions near by. We loved this so much we booked it 3 separate times on this holiday.
