"My family and I recently stayed 4 days in the hotel and had an amazing experience. The hotel beach(s) and pools are perfect, with 2 water slides for the kids fun. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout my stay. The 2 bed room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed with all the amenities I needed, including 2 bath rooms. "This house was so adorable! We were running extremely late do to a change in our flight but the owner stayed up to greet us. She showed us around the village and where the stores were. Even offered to check on us if we needed it. The house itself was cozy and well kept. We had the pleasure of having a nice dog hang out outside our door. We did run into some issues back home that caused us to have to leave early. The owner was very kind and even offered us a deal so our money wasn't going to be waste for when we return. I'm looking forward to coming back once everything back home has settled down. Thank you so much for the amazing time. I live in the mountains and this truly felt like home. "

A short but fabulous stay.

"We arrived after a late flight into Heraklion, the welcome was warm with the offer of a cold welcome beer. The room was more than we expected woth plenty of space and good amenities. Morning arrived and we had a fabulous breakfast out on the deck admiring the view over the valley. We only spent a night here bit wish we could have had 1 more. Highly reccomended"

"We had a wonderful stay at the Rafkos mansion. Stelios the owner took us wherever we needed to go and we had delicious meals at one of the local restaurants. It would be wise to have a car because it’s in a village about 30mins. from Heraklion. Stelios is the definition of Greek hospitality! "

Short stay for wedding/ birthday.

"Me my wife decided to try something different from the usual hotel packages, we were attending our daughter’s wedding and were unsure how many would be in our party, so this seemed ideal, as it sleeps up to seven. Our son and grandson did eventually stay with us. The hosts met us at the airport upon arrival and took us to the hire car I had prebooked through them and led us to the villa. The villa was just as described. The hosts were so helpful and always available on the phone if required. The local taverna does wonderful traditional Greek food and is very welcoming. If you want a relaxing stay, this is ideal. If you want to see more of Crete, as we did, a car is a must. Heraklion is only 20mins car journey and has great shops and an abundance of restaurants to choose from. If we return to Crete, we would stay again. Adonis and Lisa were wonderful, so welcoming and friendly."
