"The large dining area beside the BBQ was very hot, partially due to the air conditioning units being there. So we had to move tables and chairs around on the upper balconies to get a shady enough area for ten of us to sit and eat."

"the villa was clean and tidy, the layout is good with one bedroom on the ground floor. nice roof terrace. great sea views from the bedroon balcony. pool was a good size shared with 4 other villas but hardly anyone used it so like your own pool you need a car but the main town is a ten minute drive with some nice tavernas. recommended a few trips to rethymno just a 20 min drive but the old town is brilliant. definitely will use this villa again."

This house is a distance from stores or restaurants so we were very appreciative that the host provided us with some basic groceries. The only problem area with this property is the showers. "Our stay at Inn Villa was perfect. We stayed for 6 nights and the house was stocked with everything we needed for our holiday. The welcome basket and bottle of wine was a lovely treat for a long travelling day. Nikoaeta was the perfect host. The house was much larger than we needed but was the perfect location so we booked it and so happy we did. We had a car rental but beach, restaurants and shopping were very close by. "First of all, the villa was just beautiful, clean and perfect for our large group of friends and young kids. It had everything, very comfortable, clean and was perfect for the kids (aged 3 to 7 months old). Second, our host Mano - WHAT A HOST!!! He made the trip even better, he really looked after us and was so accommodating and helpful. I couldn't recommend him and his Villa more!! I am defo coming back next year!! Thanks Mano!! "

"We all had a wonderful time on our family vacation. The house was very comfortable and clean. The outdoor spaces of this villa are beautiful beyond words. The owners of the home were very nice and welcoming! Katrina even gifted us a few of her pictures which she painted. There are three tavernas within walking distance. They were also awesome! We definitely recommend this experience! Wish we could have stayed longer!"

"Just returned from a week at this amazing villa. Better than the listed photos. Superbly clean and everything provided. The host, Marianna, was keen to help in anyway we required. Quiet location but with a supermarket and Marianna’s taverna a very short walk for convenience. Watching the stars from the roof terrace was a huge bonus and we even saw the Milly Way. We will return!"

"Villa is lovely - spacious, nicely decorated and has all you need. The outside space is excellent and the views from inside and outside are incredible. 10 minute walk to the lake with great shops and restaurants and 10-15 minute drive to some lovely beaches. Sofia is a great host and was quick to reply to all messages from booking to the end of our stay. Really can't fault a thing and would recommend to anyone. We can't wait to retutn!"

"Beautiful villa, very well equipped with a very welcoming host, the host even met us half an hour away from the villa, in the middle of the night, to ensure we arrived safely. We were also greeted with a prepared meal and all important essentials, milk, water etc.. The villa was cleaned twice a week with the towels and linen changed. We cannot recommend Harkia Villas highly enough."

"I’ve just returned from an amazing stay at Villa Emma. The property is spacious and well furnished with a really nice pool. I would really recommend having a car while you are there. The “walkable” beach is a pebble beach and not that great for swimming. Episkopi beach is much nicer but is a drive away. The village of Gerani which is walkable is vibrant with nice restaurants, bars, coffee shops and a bakery plus a couple of supermarkets which were well stocked. Rethymno town which is fully of...
