"Enjoyed a 3 night stay. Quiet area but short drive to lots of lovely places. Breakfast had a good choice. Like a lot of buffets the food could have been hotter. We managed to use the pool and hot tub on 2 occasions, you just have to keep checking for a quiet time. The pool area around the hot tub has some signs of slight mould. Jack who served in the bar and restaurant was lovely, he really couldn’t do enough for you and was constantly checking with guests if they needed anything. Malcom less so when asked if there were any chef specials available instead of apologising for something advertised not being available, I was told they were far too busy to be bothering with Chef specials.Bed comfortable, room a nice size with a good shower room. Busy hotel and would stay again if we were in the area. "

"We absolutely loved this place. What a beautiful room: comfy, beautifully decorated and furnished, good size bathroom with good shower and lovely products. All staff were incredibly friendly, smiley and helpful. We ate in the restaurant, the food was delicious and beautifully presented. Breakfast was also very good. "

"This is a great spot in a lovely castle town. We were in easy strolling distance to the beach, great dining options and of course the castle. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming."

"Fabulous location in the centre of Seahouses with views over the harbour. All the staff were lovely and went out of their way to ensure that we had a fantastic trip. Nothing was too much trouble and although we didn’t have a dog with us, those that were there were given an equally warm welcome! (There was a dog free area of the dining room as well but all the pets were very well behaved - obviously exhausted by all those long beautiful coastal walks.) The rooms were comfortable and very warm with none of that annoying phoning down to reception to turn the heat up which seems to be the standard in large chains nowadays. We were not fully inclusive but ate in the restaurant through choice most nights as the food was freshly prepared and very good. Helen, Peter and their staff run a very efficient and friendly hotel which we will definitely visit again. "

"I got stranded at the airport due to a cancelled flight. This hotel was the cheapest option hence why we booked it. It absolutely exceded expectations. The guy at the desk gave me a bigger room than I'd booked for free. It was spacious, clean, had all the things I needed. I got room service breakfast with the freshest most amazing crossaints I've ever had. The staff let me stay all day in the bar while I waited for my flight. When the restaurant opened the food was good. The staff did everything they could do to assist me. Honestly you would have thought it was tripple the price it was. 0 issues with cleanliness. I would have liked if they served lunch but completely understood why they didn't (no one else is hanging out at an airport all day are they?) Would definitely recommend. "
