"Abisko Turiststation STF is a great place to stay. It's located close to the train station and offers a variety of rooms from hotel, to hostel, to cabins. We stayed in one of the cabins and it was perfect for us. The one item I will note is that you need to ethier bring your own sheets/sleeping bag or you can rent linnens from the hotel (much like a hostel). I am glad I reached out to them before we arrived so they could inform me of this as it doesn't seem to be listed on hotels.com....

"This place activities included, which is a plus. Unless you are able to get reservation available at mountain Lodge restaurant one has to cook their food, hence ga ing the super market is very helpful. Walkable from bus station and Abisko Ostra train station. If it's an activity that you book with someone else, make sure to have pick up option from your hotel in Abisko."

"Also we found that going in the last week of May was a bad idea because all of the activities that they advertised were actually closed for the season and even the skiing was not great since we only had 2 lifts open that only took you to 1 short piste run which only went half way down the mountain. probably going earlier in the season is less risky. "The hotel itself was pretty cozy. The staff were friendly, for the most part. They have a sauna, gym, restaurant, lobby bar, game room, and a bar downstairs. The views were incredible. There were a lot of activities to keep busy. The only downside is the cost to get to the hotel from the airport in Kiruna.
